Tender Details

The Board of Studies Office holds, within its disparate systems, vast amounts of data that can provide the Office's senior management with access to strategic and critical operational information.
In an effort to improve convenience and ease of access to this information, the Office has been motivated to establish the Knowledge & Information Management System Project (KIMS) to seek a Business Intelligence (BI) Platform and a Systems Integrator that can integrate the BI Platform with the existing information systems used at the Office, access the data and then apply rules, guidelines, and triggers so that the combined information can be described as knowledge and be used to better support the Office in particular and education in general.

The initially focus of the KIMS Project is to provide information within the following decision domains:
  • Strategic planning,
  • Planning, Reviewing & Resourcing the Examination Program,
  • Information Access,
  • Support to the Minister, the Board and its Committees,
  • Program Evaluation,
  • Asset Management,
  • Financial Management,
  • Service Delivery, and Issues Management

    NOTE.
Tenderers should view the attached PowerPoint presentation file for an overview of the Board of Studies Exams System.
