Silvicultural Tender - DPI/FNSW0803

Silvicultural works including tree planting, fertilising and spot herbicide within the Northern, Macquarie, Hume and Monaro Regions for the period May 2008 - April 2010.

Tree planting in Hume, Macquarie and Monaro will be carried out in the period, early June to 31 August. Starting and finishing dates may vary dependant on weather conditions.

Fertilising and spot herbicide treatment in these regions will be carried out in September/October.

Tree planting, fertilising and spot herbicide treatments in Northern region will be conducted in the period from September to November or February to May. Actual timing of planting will depend on rainfall received and progress of site preparation.

NSW Regions: Central West

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Forests NSW will conduct tender meetings at Grafton and Tumut , as well as inspections of representative work sites in each region. It is compulsory for all tenderers to attend at least one of the tender meetings. Tenderers must also attend the inspections in all regions they wish to work in, unless they have carried out similar work for Forests NSW in the last four seasons.
