The demolition works at Barangaroo include the removal of four steel framed clear span transit sheds ranging in area from 5,225 to 11,390 square metres together with capping all redundant services to the existing ground level and all distributed surfaces to be filled and sealed in accordance with the specification. Hazardous materials (asbestos, synthetic mineral fibre, PCD and lead paint) has been identified and shall be quantified in the Invitation to Tender process.
