Tender Details

88 George Street is a State Heritage Listed Building made up of two interconnected warehouses. Located at the junction of George Street and Hickson Road, its pivotal location combined with boutique heritage office space confirms its status as an important landmark.

This recently refurbished building now provides A grade facilities combined with high environmental sustainability credentials using a combination of the very best practice in green building design and an innovative heat rejection system.

The building provides approximately 2,200 square metres of commercial office and retail space over six levels. All office levels enjoy excellent natural light and harbour views to the north and east, incorporating the Sydney Opera House and the CBD skyline.

The areas within 88 George Street that are being considered for lease and the subject of this EOI request are:

Ground Floor (Restaurant) - 320 sq.m, no allocated parking spaces, outdoor area sq. m TBC
Level One - 369 sq.m, 1 car parking space allocated
Level Two (Part) - 255 sq.m, no allocated parking, includes 8 sq.m shared kitchen
Level Four - 347 sq.m, 2 car parking spaces allocated, includes 24sq.m West facing balcony
Level Five - 346 sq.m, 2 car parking spaces allocated

Please Note: At the time of issue of this EOI, The Authority is in negotiations for a lease of levels 4 and 5. Applicants wishing to submit an EOI for Level 4 & 5 are encourage to apply, pending the outcome of existing negotiations. It is anticipated that the negotiations will be finalised within 2 weeks of 14 Jan 08.

Site inspections will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays commencing at 2pm for one hour, from Tuesday 22 January through to Tuesday 19 February 2008.
