The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to obtain proposals from parties interested in supplying high capacity buses (the Buses) to State Transit for the trial of a Super Metro Bus system in the Sydney metropolitan area.
State Transit wishes to obtain up to 5 buses through this RFP process, potentially from multiple tenderers. If possible, it is preferable for Buses to be delivered to State Transit by late 2007, and be ready for introduction to service by early 2008 and remain in service for approximately one year.

A non-compolsory pre-tender briefing will be held 10am 28 August 2007, at State Transit head office Level 1, 219-241 Cleveland St Strawberry Hills. Interested parties are to advise the Contact Officer of their intention to attend by COB 24 August 2007.
