Pre-qualified panel of interior fit out and refurbishment contractors for the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre - SHFA 3598

The objective of this EOI is to establish a list of suitably qualified and experienced contractors specialising in relevant interior fit out, refurbishment and associated works to participate in future selective tendering processes for various work packages. As part of a refurbishment program, the Authority intends to undertake as discrete packages, various works in some of the rooms over the four (4) year period in the years 2007 to 2011. The overall programme of works entails the delivery of $15-20 million (excl. GST) of works over the next 4 years commencing in the financial year 07/08. broken down into approximately 12 packages with values ranging between $150,000 and $3,000,000 (excl. GST) The work packages will typically involve interior refurbishment and fit out works including: " minor structural modifications to internal walls; " modification of building services including electrical, mechanical ventilation, fire services and hydraulics; " installation of new floor finishes, joinery and window coverings; " lighting upgrades; " Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment; and " plasterboard work and painting.
