The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking tender responses from suitably qualified contractors to monitor the deployment of anabat detectors at all twenty-two ecological thinning sites within Murray Valley National Park. This monitoring will take place around the time of the full moon in January or February to assess bat species richness and diversity. Key milestones include field surveys, call analysis, and data provision. The objective of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of ecological thinning in promoting biodiversity in the river red gum high stem density areas, encompassing 400 hectares within Murray Valley National Park
