Tender Details

The Tumut MA manages and maintains over 5,700 km of roading infrastructure, spanning a geographic area that extends from northern Buccleuch to the southern border of Green Hills South State Forest.  Targeted drilling, blasting, crushing and sizing of rock from quarries are undertaken annually to support the construction, repair and maintenance of strategic assets, servicing a large commercial forest industry and the regional community at large.

 

Under this RFP, FCNSW requires road base material to be produced from four pits. These are Dykes Pit, Chinamans Pit, Tumba Pit and Three Mile Pit over a period up to three (3) years. The contractor shall provide all necessary labour, plant, equipment and safety apparatus to perform the full scope of works.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

All registered proponents wanting to provide a proposal must also contact the Contact Officer to register their interest.  All questions, clarifications or queries are to be made via the Contact Officer or their nominated proxy.  Any amendments to the process will be provided prior to submissions closing and should be considered as part of any submitted proposal

Conditions for Participation

Proponents must meet all Safety, financial, performance, equipment and business risk considerations to an acceptable level as assessed by FCNSW.

This RFP process will close on the 15th December 2023.

The work will if awarded is targeted to be by 15th January 2024.
