Bus Priority Enforcement System (BPES) Trial
TfNSW is conducting this Expression of Interest (EOI) to the market to assess the responses to address the TfNSW’s issue of deterring unauthorised vehicles from travelling in dedicated traffic lanes.
This EOI relates to the assessment of potential devices to monitor traffic lane use and to capture potential offences of unauthorised use. This EOI is designed for the market to demonstrate to TfNSW potential methods to address our issue.
The BPES is a program designed to deter unauthorised vehicles from using specific dedicated public transport lanes.
The three main types of offences detected by the BPES are:
a) “Bus lane” offences
b) “Transit–Way” (T-Way) offences
c) “Bus Only lane” offences

The Proponent must complete the Confidentiality Deed Poll and can be uploaded via Ariba once invited. Once the Confidentiality is uploaded you will be able to view and download the Expression of Interest documents upon approval.
