Provision of Food Testing Services - P24-6864

"Provision of Food Testing Services.

This request for Tender P24-6864 seeks submissions from tenderers to supply food testing services, being the services described in more detail in the Statement of Requirements.  The Food Safety Unit of the NSW DPI Biosecurity and Food Safety (BFS) branch (NSW Food Authority) undertakes analytical testing of a range of food and environmental samples. 

NSW Food Authority is responsible for:

Responding to reports of suspected foodborne illness, food complaints and food incidents, enforcement action including seizure, closure orders and prosecutions, food surveillance activities to ensure food is safe and complies with food legislation, providing science and evidence to inform policy and risk management."

Contract Period 3 years plus 1 x 2 year extension option
