RFP- Internal Mail Distribution and Courier Services - WS4046776907

Transport for NSW is seeking to engage a single OR multiple contractor/s for its Internal Mail Distribution & Courier Services 

 

Transport for NSW has a requirement for Internal Mail Distribution and Courier Services, which may include:

(a) mail distribution including external mail pick up, sorting and internal delivery;

(b) courier services;

(c) mail digitisation; and

(d) bulk mail out services.

Transport for NSW utilises postal and courier delivery services as a key part of its daily operations. There is a current need for PO Box collections, mail sorting, internal mail distribution and other mail services. In addition, Transport for NSW is exploring the option of mail digitisation for future implementation, and invites proposal from prospective providers.

Transport for NSW is releasing this single phase open RFP process to ensure achievement of open and effective competition and value for money. 

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

In order to gain access to the Request for proposal documents, Tenderers are required to download the attached registration form and send it back in an email: TSS.Bidder@transport.nsw.gov.au

Access can only be granted post submission of the registration form provided all the three conditions of participation are met.

• The Procurement (Enforceable Procurement Provisions) Direction 2019 applies to this procurement

• A government agency may conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding the procurement

There are 3 conditions of participation include;

a) Condition of Participation 1 – The Tenderer has an ABN or ACN or can demonstrate it will have an ABN or ACN prior to Contract Execution.

b) Condition of Participation 2 – In order to be given access to this RFP in Ariba, the Tenderer must provide evidence that it is in the business of delivery of Internal Mail and Courier Services and has held similar contracts in the past.

c) Condition of Participation 3 – In order to be given access to this RFP in Ariba, the Tenderer must correctly execute the Transport for NSW Confidentiality Deed Pol (Registration From - Schedule 4).
