Tender Details
Purpose overview:
The RFT is to seek to appoint a panel of approved insurance Distributors with the expertise to manage an end to end process of builders’ HBCF requirements. Services ranging from builders’ warranty brokerage services to assisting builders with insurance Eligibility Applications and Reviews, issuing Certificates of Eligibility and associated administrative functions.
The purpose of the RFT is to allow icare hbcf to address key gaps in the current Direct Distribution Deeds and apply learnings gained in directly managing the Distributor contracts which were originally the responsibility of insurance agents.
As a next step in this process, icare hbcf plans to issue an open market RFT to solicit proposals to form a new Distributor Panel.
The RFT is scheduled to be issued on 1 October 2020, with responses due of 3 November 2020.
