Tender Details
The Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Program (MotoCAP) was established in 2018 by a consortium of government and non-government organisations across Australia and New Zealand aiming to empower motorcyclists to choose the best gear for their riding. MotoCAP currently tests and rates motorcycle jackets, pants and gloves using evidence-based methods and disseminates the results publicly via a website (motocap.com.au).
The services sought include random sampling, anonymous purchasing, photography, testing and rating of motorcycle jackets, pants and gloves sold in Australia and New Zealand to established protocols for these activities. Deliverables include the photographs, ratings and test reports to be provided on the MotoCAP website.
Testing and rating services include a number of test methods related to safety and breathability of the garments.
Additional services sought include the provision of informative material and engaging in opportunities for promotion of MotoCAP to the community.
