Tender Details

SOHT is seeking responses (a Tender) from suitably experienced, competent, and skilled organisations to provide an Automated Website Bot Protection on Sydney Opera House’s main website. The solution should  be powered by AI or automation and not require curation of manual rule sets to be effective.

The Website Bot Protection software must protect SOH from the following types of attacks:

  • Denial of Service (DoS) – which can cause slowness or take the website offline entirely by exhausting all resources or blocking all inventory.
  • Website Scraping – allowing a party to scrape valuable information from they Sydney Opera House website e.g. pricing
  • Online Fraud – the ability for mass account creation and stolen usernames to be attempted. This should also cover card cracking where stolen cards or random card numbers and expiry dates are tested against a website for viability.
  • System Takeover – scanning for and exploiting vulnerabilities within the Sydney Opera House website.

It is essential  that organisations submitting a Tender specifically address the selection criteria in their submission and demonstrate relevant experience and capacity to deliver services within the required parameters.
