The Opportunity Hub will help to provide clear pathways to real jobs for individual students, tailored to their needs and aspirations. The Opportunity Hub will operate as a central point for coordinating local employment and education and training opportunities for Aboriginal young people. The Opportunity Hub has a focus on Aboriginal young people, which includes Aboriginal students in years 5 to 12 and Aboriginal school leavers in the Liverpool Local Government Area (LGA). School leavers are defined as Aboriginal young people who have left school in the past twelve months by completing their studies, or have left without finishing school. The Service Area for this Opportunity Hub is the Liverpool Local Government Area (LGA), and any other areas approved by the Department.
