Sydney Metro is seeking an experienced Service Provider with relevant expertise in the Project Management Services to support the procurement and delivery phases of major contract packages.

Sydney Metro is seeking an experienced Service Provider with relevant expertise to work within the Sydney Metro West Project Delivery Team to assist in the procurement and delivery phases of major contract packages. A project Manager is required to ensure the successful delivery of Early Tunnelling activities, which specifically include the demolition and roadworks.

NSW Regions: Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney

Minimum Requirements

1. Skills, Capability, and Qualifications

• Engineering tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience with a proven record of “on time and on budget” project delivery of large multistorey demolition works in urban environments and demonstrated knowledge of the structure of public and private transport industries in NSW, associated legislation and safety standards.

2. Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the demolition projects in urban Sydney environments.

• Minimum of 2 years delivery experience of urban excavation, civil and mass haul construction management.

• Minimum of 2 years delivery experience of temporary work for demolition (Urban and Sydney experience desirable).

3. Project Management and Stakeholder Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading project team of minimum of 2 direct reports or more.

• Demonstrable experience of being key stakeholder interface with Councils, Heritage, Utilities and other key government agencies (Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro or Sydney Roads desirable), including 3 years’ experience of handover to relevant stakeholders.
