Tender Details

The Tenderer may price the two options set out in the submission document.

Option 1, which must be priced, provides for the demolition of the existing bridge and the construction of a new bridge. Traffic to be sidetracked around the work with a temporary bridge over the creek.

Option 2, which the tenderer may price in addition to Option 1, provides for the reconstruction of the bridge approaches, approximately 250 metres of roadway. This work will be performed under traffic. Note that Council may elect to undertake this work itself.

The contract envisages continued use of Woodlands Road for the construction period. It is the intent of both options that disruptions to traffic be kept to an absolute minimum and to the extent possible coincide with school holidays.

Roadworks are to be constructed in accordance with the NATSPEC/AUSSpec suite of specifications, including for quality.

Bridge works are to be constructed in accordance with standard NSW RMS (RTA) Specifications for Quality and Bridgework.
