Tender Details
The project involves the dredging of a target volume of 3,500 cubic metres of sandy silt material from the bed of Koonawarra Bay in Lake Illawarra in order to improve water circulation and boating access to the existing jetty adjoining Lakeside Drive Park.
The area to be dredged is located approximately 100 to 150 metres from the shoreline of the bay and covers an area approximately 250 metres by 50 metres.
Subject to the availability of funding and tendered rates, the Principal may elect to increase the extent of dredging by up to a further 2,000 cubic metres.
