Tender Details

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for T53-19 tender for Glassop Street Resurfacing- Yagoona from Allum Street to Dutton Street.

The scope of works generally includes demolition, saw-cutting, reconstruction of concrete kerb and gutter, minor stormwater, reconstruction of vehicular crossings, reconstruction of footpaths, reconstruction of traffic islands and reconstruction of roundabouts (after asphalt works by others) and minor landscaping between Allum Street and Dutton Street, Yagoona.

The site is located in a residential area and is a bus route. Work involves closure of lanes whilst reconstructing kerb and gutter on either side of the road. Due to the large volume of traffic during peak hours, the Contractor must ensure minimum impact of the traffic operation in the area.

Tenderers while submitting their tenders, must make emphasis on the construction program and work methodology. Tenderers must clearly identify the stages and how they intend to perform the work, so that the impact on the traffic flow, parking disturbance and noise levels are kept to a minimum. Full road closure is not permitted unless otherwise directed by the Superintendent.
