Tender Details

The Office of Social Impact Investment (OSII) on behalf of the NSW Government is seeking innovative partnerships that will invest in earlier intervention to improve social outcomes in complex issue areas. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a new initiative to enable proponents and government to co-develop social impact investment (SII) ideas in any policy area. The new program – SII Evolve – is a complementary stream to OSII’s issue-specific RFP process and allows the non-government sector to approach OSII with innovative ideas.

SII Evolve seeks to provide a collaborative and supportive environment to develop SII proposals that align with government priorities and inform future areas to target that will improve lives of vulnerable people in NSW.

Selected proposals will be tested, designed and progressed collaboratively with OSII and the relevant government agency.

RFT Type

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

This tender opportunity is not expected to lead to the award of a contract, or the award details will be advertised elsewhere. Please telephone or email the contact officer for details
