Tender Details

The NSW Parliament is seeking proposals from Broadcast / AV System Integrators for the design and supply of a fully installed and commissioned “Turnkey” broadcast television solution.
The solution shall be flexible, innovative and easy to operate together with the provision of professional training of Parliamentary representatives and support to fulfil its requirements of maintaining its media broadcasting capability from the Legislative Council Chamber.

The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to outline the deliverables required for a successful Vendor to supply a Turnkey Solution(s) for the Replacement of the Broadcast System in the Legislative Council plus three separate Sub Projects.

All Projects incorporate System Design and Implementation to cater for the Equipment Supply, Installation, Commissioning, Operational Training, and Technical Support to NSW Parliament Legislative Council (LC). However the primary project is the replacement of the existing LC Chamber Broadcast and associated Sound Systems with new HD/SDI and DSP technologies.

Coupled with the LC Chamber Broadcast System Replacement, this RFT includes a number of individual Scopes of Work referred to as (Sub Projects) which the Principal may or may not proceed with.

They are:
·  ‘Sub Project 1’ to upgrade to the MATV Head End Replacement;

·  ‘Sub Project 2’ to supply a Video On Demand System; and

·  ‘Sub Project 3’ to supply an (a) Edit System and (b) Central Video Server.

This is an Invited RFT. The invited firms are listed below.
