Tender Details
NSW Transport and Infrastructure (NSWTI) is seeking an organisation or organisations, with the experience, and innovative and flexible strategies, to provide Community Transport services in the two areas with funding provided through the two programs under the administration of NSWTI. These are existing services, currently provided by three separate community transport agencies, that are being re-auspiced. The aim of this initiative is to improve service coordination and service provision to eligible frail older people, people with a disability, carers and other transport disadvantaged residents of the two areas.
Please note that, as this is a re-auspice, a number of existing assets, without prejudice, may be available to be used by the successful tenderer for the services.
The successful organisation needs to demonstrate knowledge of and experience in the delivery of flexible and innovative services, proven ability to manage client focussed community transport services and the ability to manage the transition of the auspices while ensuring continuity of service provision to existing clients.
Services are to be provided to people eligible under program guidelines who reside in the Shellharbour and Wollongong Local Government Areas (LGA's), excluding residents north of Coledale currently receiving services from Northern Illawarra Neighbour Aid (NINA).
This Tender is a re-issue of the Tender of the same name in July 2009, as none of the submissions at that time fully met the Tender's required specifications ad criteria.
