The NSW Wales Self Insurance Corporation (SICorp), through the proposed RFP, will be seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations with the expertise to provide the required services, including:
- Advice,

Analytical services, and
- To negotiate and place our complex reinsurance program into professional insurers and reinsurance underwriters in key insurance markets worldwide.
Through engagement of a Reinsurance Provider or Providers, SICorp has the objectives of:

minimising State exposures;
-
reducing claims costs and budget impacts;
-
optimising accountability of Agencies and service providers;
-
efficient and cost effective delivery of all services; and
-
maintaining full funding of liabilities.
Deed of Confidentiality
Prospective respondents wishing to access the RFP will be required to complete a Deed of Confidentiality. To obtain a copy of the deed, please email the Contact Officer referencing the RFP title and number. Requests should be sent to:

Following receipt of the signed Deed, icare will issue the passcode to allow access to the RFP documentation suite once published.
Vendor Briefing
icare is planning to have a Vendor Briefing session following the issue of the RFP. Details of the briefing will be published in Part A of the RFP (refer 6.1) for further information on RSVP instructions.
Market Briefing
icare is holding a Market Briefing session via webinar following the issue of the RFP. Details of the Market Briefing are in Part A (refer 6.1) of the RFP which can be accessed on or after receipt of a signed Deed.
