Tender Details
Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced building contractors for the construction of an indoor sports centre, media centre and related amenities.
The two buildings and related landscaping will complement the existing facilities at Bankstown Oval.
The indoor sports centre will provide facilities for various sports including indoor cricket, baseball, futsal and school sports, utilising synthetic turf in the primary sports and practice area. The other support facilities will include a gymnasium, change rooms/sanitary facilities, kitchens, offices, store rooms and accessible change and toilet facilities. The building will feature natural ventilation in the sports hall and partial air conditioning in some of the support areas.
The media centre is a double storey masonry building with full access for persons with disabilities. The lower storey will house a kiosk, "hall of fame" and related service areas. The first floor will provide a meeting room and media room for broadcasting in radio and television media.

Council will not consider a Tender lodged by a Tenderer who fails to attend a compulsory site inspection, or fails to ensure that an appropriate representative of the Tenderer attends on its behalf. Tenderers must take their own precautions upon visiting the site.
