The entire FRNSW Fleet consists of major firefighting appliances, special vehicles, trailers, various plant and equipment and passenger vehicles of different types. Annually FRNSW requires approximately 85 passenger vehicles to be marked up through commissioning / decommissioning. Additionally some 35 new fire appliances undergo the same arrangements. Minor repairs to existing vehicles also require the services for reaffixing or reapplication of vehicle markings throughout any given year.
FRNSW wishes to establish a panel contract arrangement with both large commercial organisations as well as small operators who have the capability and capacity to provide products and services to meet FRNSW's requirements.
It is preferred that Service providers operate from a facility located within the Greater Sydney Area, and are able to attend to requests for services which may be required to be performed at FRNSW Logistics Support Centre Greenacre.
Suppliers of product for FRNSW, should be able to assist FRNSW with developing new vehicle marking and labelling configuration using High Grade Reflective products suited to each vehicle. All development proposals are to be provided by electronic media for review and approval.
FRNSW intends to establish an arrangement with multiple companies that can provide all the abovementioned services, or with smaller organisations that may have expertise in only the supply or service component of this panel contract arrangement.
