The Project involves permanent termination of the rail services between Newcastle and Wickham Stations along with the associated station, stabling, turnaround and interchange facilities works. The construction component includes the following:
· Station works (including platforms, buildings, services);
· Stabling yard (and associated signalling, overhead wiring, power and communications); and
· Track works to new Terminus platforms (and associated signalling, overhead wiring, power and communications).

To receive the ROI document, organisations must register by completing the attached Confidentiality Agreement and emailing it to the Contact Officer.
Upon receipt of the completed Confidentiality Agreement TfNSW may, at its sole discretion, accept the registration and provide the ROI document to the organisation.

Conditions for Participation
To be considered for short-listing through the ROI Process, Applicants must demonstrate as a minimum the following minimum requirements:
Minimum Requirement 1 – The Applicant has a combined turnover in construction contracting activities greater than $200 million per annum for each of the last 3 years.
Minimum Requirement 2 – The Applicant has experience in the management of the design, supply, construction, commissioning (including multi-disciplinary commissioning) and handover of an electrified rail contract within a live rail corridor valued in excess of $75 million in the last 5 years.
Minimum Requirement 3 – The Applicant has construction experience in a live operating rail corridor as, or for, a party accredited under the Rail Safety National Law 2012 (NSW) or a similar regulatory regime.
Minimum Requirement 4 – The Applicant has a Safety Management System that:
(i) meets the requirements of and the accreditation criteria defined by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and the Rail Safety National Law 2012 (NSW); and
(ii) enables the Principal to fulfil its obligations as an accredited Rail Transport Operator under the Rail Safety National Law 2012 (NSW).
Minimum Requirement 5 – The Applicant has an Environmental Management System that:
(i) has been certified by an appropriately recognised third party as complying with ISO 14001:2004 environmental management systems; or
(ii) has been assessed or accepted by a relevant NSW government construction agency as complying with the requirements of the NSW Government Environmental Management System Guidelines (2nd Ed, 2009).
Minimum Requirement 6 – The Applicant has a Quality Management System that:
(i) has been certified by an appropriately recognised third party as complying with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems; or
(ii) meets the requirements of and the accreditation criteria defined by the NSW Government Quality Management System Guidelines (3rd Ed, 2014).
Minimum Requirement 7 – The Applicant attended the mandatory ROI Briefing.
