In accordance with various deeds and agreements, the NSW Transport & Infrastructure (NSWT&I) is obligated to undertake routine and major periodical maintenance of various assets within the light rail corridor, including various under bridges and viaducts.
This RFT relates to major periodical maintenance works on Sydney Light Rail under bridges and viaducts.
The prospective contractors must demonstrate previous experience in bridge maintenance in both the railway road networks within NSW.
Tenderers must also demonstrate evidence of the appropriately qualified staff and team of sub contractors with relevant training and qualification in working within railway environment, i.e. RISI cards etc.

Submit the Tender Form, Tender Schedules marked “Submit with the Tender Form” and other required documents or information by the date and time given in the advertisement or invitation, by any of the following methods: • Tender Box, Tenderers are to submit four copies of their submission, in two envelopes. The envelopes are based on cost and non cost items. One envelope is to contain Tender Schedule 2 Schedule of Rates. The other envelope is to contain all other documents. If more than one tender submission is made, mark each submission clearly as to whether it is a copy, an alternative tender, or whether the submission supersedes another submission. Submit when requested, by the date, time and method stipulated in the request, Tender Schedules marked “Submit when requested” and any other information required to allow further consideration of the Tender. Failure to meet this requirement may result in the Tender being rejected.

Mandatory site meeting will commence 8:00am Thursday 10 December 2009 at 220 Pyrmont Road Pyrmont. Tenderers are required to hold current RISI cards to attend the meeting.
