Tender Details
Tenders are being sought from companies to be included on a Panel to provide transport survey and fieldwork services. The work to be undertaken will involve a range of tasks under two broad categories:
Category 1: Traffic and Passenger Counts

Counting and recording people at specified locations such as train stations and bus stops.

Counting and recording passengers on various modes of public transport through on-board counting

Counting and recording of pedestrians at traffic intersections or other specified locations.

Counting and recording of vehicles at traffic intersections, in parking lots or other specified locations;

Observation and recording of the number of people on public transport.
Category 2: Travel Behaviour & Attitude Surveys

Interviewing people regarding a variety of matters relating to their travel patterns, travel behavior or the quality of service.

Observational style surveys such as Mystery Shopper survey to evaluate key services and facilities on modes of public transport or at train stations, interchanges or other locations as required.

Stated preference surveys to assist with forecasts of changes in travel behaviour.

A variety of other consumer and customer research techniques including but not limited to quantitative research (including face to face, online and telephone methodologies) and qualitative research (focus groups and in-depth interviewing capabilities)
Tenderers may tender for one or more of the above requirements based on previous experience and available expertise and skill set provided they are able to demonstrate in their tenders that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity and technical knowledge to design, manage and implement transport and traffic surveys.
