Tender Details

In order to develop the SLRE Light Rail Transport Study (Study), the Service Provider must demonstrate substantial experience in transport planning. They must be able to provide evidence of previous transport studies for projects of similar nature and size, preferably in light rail.

The Study, which focusses on surface traffic and transport, will consider public transport, active transport and traffic issues associated with the introduction of light rail to Central Sydney. It will investigate the interactions between traffic (including buses, taxis, commercial vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists) and light rail; identify a range of scenarios to test the implications of introducing light rail; scope the measures that can be introduced to manage these activities; and determine actions required to successfully introduce the preferred alignment.
