Tender Details

This tender is offering 4 fringe area (Richmond/Windsor) class annual taxi licences for operation in the Richmond/Windsor area of operation. The Richmond / Windsor Area of Operation comprises the eastern part of the Local Government Area of Hawkesbury that is bounded by Phillip Charley Creek on the south west, thence by Grose Vale Road and Old Bells Line of Road on the west, and thence by Howes Creek on the North.

An annual taxi licence may be renewed by the successful applicant each year up to nine (9) times on the payment each year of the tendered fee price – that is a maximum of ten (10) years of operation. The licence holder has a right to renew the licence, as long as they are meeting any conditions of the licence.

An annual licence can be either owner/operated or leased, but cannot be transferred (sold) on the open market.

The objective of a fringe area licence is to provide areas on the metropolitan fringe with a level of taxi service equal to the benchmarks set throughout the metropolitan regions.

Any vehicle may be used to provide the services that meet the required vehicle standards.
