Tender Details
This is a quality control lump sum tender for "ROAD REHABILITATION FOR ASHBY AVENUE & WARRINGA STREET T 05 / 11", both situated at YAGOONA. This project consists of two parts as stated below;
PART A: Ashby Avenue YAGOONA, from Arnold Ave to McMillan Ave,
Reference in UBD MAP 251 N10.
PART B: Warringa Street YAGOONA, from Saltash St to Waruda St,
Reference in UBD MAP 251 E14.
Works under Parts A and B mainly involve concrete and minor stormwater. Road pavement to be done by others.
Works under Part A (Ashby Avenue) of this Contract generally include: · Reconstruction of stormwater drainage structures & supply & installation of stormwater pipes & sub-soil drainage. · Reconstruction of sections of Kerb and gutter and kerb ramps. . · Reconstruction of a number of vehicular crossings. · Reconstruction of Concrete footpath slabs at various locations. · Construction of concrete median island. · Construction of concrete slabs for bus stops. · Replacement of existing grates with bike safe grates. · Traffic Signage. · Turfing. Road Pavement work in Part A to be undertaken by others after the completion of all works under this contract. Works under Part B (Warringah Street) of this Contract generally include: · Reconstruction of stormwater drainage structures & supply & installation of stormwater pipes & sub-soil drainage. · Reconstruction of sections of Kerb and gutter and kerb ramps. . · Reconstruction of a number of vehicular crossings. · Construction of concrete slabs for bus stops. · Replacement of existing grates with bike safe grates. · Traffic Signage. · Turfing Pavement work in Part B to be undertaken by others after the completion of all works under this contract. Details of scope of works are listed in Section E, Clause E2 “Extent of Works”. The Lump Sum tendered shall account for all works described in the Contract Documents and any other associated works and/or expenses necessary to fulfil the intent of the Contract. With the exception of Provisional Items, if any item of work is not listed in the Bill Of Quantities or is listed but is incorrect in quantity, it shall be understood that due allowance has been made in the prices of other items for the cost of the activity, which has not been priced. The Contractor shall demonstrate a full commitment of resources to ensure continuity of output for delivery of allocated works. The works included in the Contract comprise the supply of materials, plant and labour necessary for the complete and proper construction of the works as specified and directed under the supervision of the Superintendent or his representative.
