C801 Food Services – Retail Groceries (Category 9) - 1001254

Tenders are sought for the provision of a full range of grocery items, including fresh fruit and vegetable, frozen goods, meat, delicatessen, halal and kosher foods, laundry, kitchen and bathroom products usually available from supermarkets and grocers.  

RFT 1001254 will establish another panel of suppliers for the provision of retail groceries under a new Category 9 in the existing whole of government Contract 801 Food Services.   

Tenderers may offer in these three service modes: 

·       receiving orders via an online ordering system (including home delivery) and instore purchasing;

·        receiving orders via an online ordering system only (includes home delivery);

·      instore purchasing only. 

Successful tenderers are envisaged to make available to individual customers their own e-Commerce platform which shall be accessible via internet. 

Tenderers are also encouraged to include in their offers provision of their own card system for use by customers to purchase in-store and/or online, as well as to settle individual and/or aggregated transactions. 

Agreement to be executed with successful tenderers will align with the terms and conditions as granted to existing suppliers of Contract 801, including contract expiry on 31 March 2013.

All responses that are received can only be accessed, un-encrypted and opened after the RFT has officially closed.
This is done though a controlled Tender Opening process managed        by the Agency’s Tender Opening Committee.
