Tender Details

Stage 2 of the upgrade to the Wategos to Byron Lighthouse walking track. Stage 1 of the works were completed in August 2023 managed by NSWPW. NPWS have now engaged NSWPW to manage the second stage of the works. The project includes new pathways and stairs.

Pre-Qualified / Invited - Only those directly invited to tender, may obtain an RFT for the purpose of lodging a tender response. Generally an invitation from a pre-qualified register of approved tenderers who have the ability to undertake the particular work or type of work proposed, a limited number of service providers are known to carry out the work or service (or in emergency or other restricted situations). Tenderers have usually been pre-qualified, accredited, or selected for the type of work and financial range. Competitive bids called from a standing offer (panel / period) contracts would also use this type.

MEETING- A non–mandatory pre-tender meeting is proposed for Tuesday 6-February-2024 at 10:00AM. The meeting will be held onsite at 1 Tallow Beach Rd, Byron Bay NSW 2481.

TWO ENVELOPE TENDER- This RFT is being managed under the Two-Envelope system. Ensure to review the "Conditions for Tendering" details to ensure the tender is submitted in the correct format.

Non-Price and Price responses are to be lodged into two separate files. The files can be zipped together to be submitted.

Electronic Tender Box Security
