Tender Details
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) currently occupies 50 fire control centres. There are plans to refurbish one (1) and replace one (1) facility each year over the next three (3) financial years.
These facilities are used for Business as usual activities (BAU), managing and coordinating operational incidents within the local District/Team/Zone (DTZ) geographical boundaries.
Each FCC is built to a standard specification. This RFP is focused on provisioning a standard specification for AV equipment for the following three rooms within an FCC, Operations Room, Incident controller room, and incident planning room. The FCC will have other rooms but these are out of scope of this RFP.
The NSW RFS is issuing this RFP to identify a vendor who can deliver the system design to a pilot site that meets the RFS requirements as listed in under section, Part B 1, 2, and 3.
It is currently assumed that this pilot site will be in Bathurst however this may be subject to change. The vendor must also be able to provide the Bill of Materials (BoM), configuration and installation of the system into the pilot site by June 30 2017.
The successful Respondent will become the preferred supplier for the standard knowledge wall system across NSW subject to the successful completion of the pilot installation to the satisfaction of the NSW RFS.
