Tender Details

The successful tenderer will be expected to visit 30 dairy farms throughout the Upper and Lower Hunter Valley and Berry dairying districts of NSW. The successful tenderer will, at each of the sites, conduct a farm energy and water audit particularly focusing on the milk harvesting process with the objective of identifying areas of potential efficiencies for the farmer. The farm visits are to be regarded as individual case studies that will be shared with farmers in the immediate areas through field days and across NSW through published material. Each farmer will receive an individualised report identifying areas for improvement and suggested means of achieving them. Each report needs to identify technologies and processes to achieve efficiencies and highlight options that attract rebates. Subsequent to the farm visits, the key performance indicators highlighted in the audits need to be benchmarked within each group of 10 and to the complete group of 30 farms.
