Tender Details

Property Acquisition & Advisory services - key tasks, deliverables and timeframes required to support the Sydney Metro West project and any ongoing property acquisition requirements.

Sydney Metro is seeking to engage the services of a suitably experienced Service Provider/s to undertake Property Acquisition and Advisory Services for the Sydney Metro West project. Sydney Metro wishes to engage a highly competent and professional service provider/s that will deliver exceptional outcomes in the delivery of the Services.

• The roles covered by this tender include roles as Acquisition & Transaction Manager x 3

•  Acquisition & Transaction Managers, Sub-surface x 2

with level of skill and experience commensurate with these roles.

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands

Conditions for Participation

In order to be evaluated as part of this tender, tenderers must meet the following Minimum Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to meet the Minimum Requirements.

Company

• Minimum of 2 professional staff

• Turnover of over $1 million per year

• 5 years as a GST & ABN registered company

Acquisition & Transaction Managers, Sub-surface

• Degree level qualification in a related technical field (e.g., property, valuation and/or economics).

• A minimum of 5 years industry experience directly related to sub-surface acquisitions and transactions.

• Relevant and current professional qualifications and proven working knowledge of property and industry best practice.

• Proven experience in successfully delivering property acquisition & transaction services and demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991 in a major public infrastructure project environment.

• Demonstrated relevant working experience and proven ability to manage property acquisition and transaction services in complex infrastructure environment.

• Detailed knowledge of the legislation, policy, processes, and practices involved in planning for and delivering major transport projects.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of government protocols for property acquisition, appreciation of probity and due diligence requirements.

• Experience utilising customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Acquisition & Transaction Managers

• Degree level qualification in a related technical field (e.g., planning, engineering, transport).

• A minimum of 5 years industry experience.

• Relevant and current professional qualifications and proven working knowledge of property and industry best practice.

• Proven experience in successfully delivering property acquisition services and demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991 in a major public infrastructure project environment.

• Demonstrated experience in providing expert advice and input into Land & Environment Court (LEC) property acquisition related matters. 

• Demonstrated relevant working experience and a proven ability to manage property acquisition services.

• Provide expert advice and input in land and property acquisition processes and activities such as options analysis, acquisition cost estimates, acquisition opportunities, property feasibility assessments and property acquisition risk. 

• Detailed knowledge of the legislation, policy, processes and practices involved in planning for and delivering major transport projects.

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of government protocols for property acquisition, appreciation of probity and due diligence requirements.

• Experience utilising customer relationship management (CRM) software.
