Tender Details

The Standing Offer Agreement [SOA] 2390 -Imaging Devices and Document Solutions will combine and replace three (3) SOAs-

(a) 390 Photocopying Machines;
(b) 2034 Document Management Services; and
(c )ITS 2308 Printers, Facsimiles and Related Services

This SOA will consolidate all Imaging Devices and Document Solutions requirements and provide a single point of contact for all government agencies and eligible users for copy and print requirements and the new SOA will include both. The products and services in the following eight categories:

1.Photocopiers and Multifunctional Devices
2. Laser printers
3. Inkjet printers
4.Large Format Printers/Copiers
5.Scanners
6.Fascimiles
7.Consumables for the above products
8. Document Management Services

For product Categories one (1) to six (6), it is mandatory that the Tenderer be:

(a)An original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Products being tendered; or
(b)The sole Australian/NSW distributor for a manufacturer where that manufacturer is not tendering in their own right for the Products tendered; or
(c)Local assembler of the tendered products and badged by the tenderer.

For Category seven (7) Consumables it is expected that only Australian Cartridge Remanufactured Association (ACRA) or its equivalent, accredited products will be considered.

The sucessful tenderers will supply, deliver, install and provide maintenance and services of one or more of the product categoriesone (1) to six (6) and eight (8) including all acessories and spare parts throughout NSW including ACT.

Briefing Session
A tender briefing session will be held at level 4, McKell building, 2-24 Rawson Place on Monday 11 July 2005.
From 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Obtaining the required DMax Lite Sofware:

The RFT documents are made available in ".dmx" file format only. This format is specific to the software, 'DMax Lite', that is distributed by 'DecisionMax Pty Ltd'.
To open the RFT and to prepare your tender response you will need to use the 'Dmax Lite' software.

If you do not already have a current licensed copy of ‘Dmax Lite’ (Version 5), the software can be downloaded from this website.
Alternatively, it can be purchased directly form Decision Max Pty Ltd.
If you have existing Dmax Lite software (v4) a Free upgrade is provided via the Decision Max Help Desk.

To then use Dmax Lite software provided from this site, a licence must be purchased from DecisionMax Pty Ltd.

If you wish to participate in this tender process you should first download the RFT files in .dmx format, through the normal 'Download a Softcopy - free' link below.

As you follow the process provided by that link you are also given access to a 'DMax Lite' software download. Follow the on-screen instructions.
For your convenience, a fax form is provided with the software download files to order the licence direct from the supplier.


This software is compatible with Microsoft Windows computer operating system - XP – (if you cannot access such a system and would like to tender please contact the Contact Officer for this RFT named below).
