Request for Tender - External Property & Facilities Management Services - SM 2020/031

Sydney Metro is in the process of acquiring property for project purposes and as a result has a number of significant property management obligations. Alongside these obligations, Sydney Metro will be incurring numerous expenses as an owner and landlord.

These obligations and financial management requirements can be extensive and complex, requiring an external property and facilities manager.

Sydney Metro management requirements will cover a geographic area from the Sydney CBD, Inner West as well as Western & South Western Sydney

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Organisations that would like to participate in the Request for Tender must register.

 To register, Organisations must:

 Submit a Confidentiality Deed Poll (signed and dated) to the Contact Officer via the Contact Officer email address.

In order to be evaluated as part of this tender, tenderers must meet the following Minimum Requirements:

 Minimum Requirement 1:

 ·         Evidence that the Tenderer:

 o    presently manages a portfolio of not less than 50 commercial, industrial  & retail properties within the Sydney Metropolitan area; and

 o    has the demonstrated capability and resources to provide property and facilities management services to any of the properties scheduled to be acquired as identified in the Services Brief including all asset types, for example Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Vacant Land, Residential and Strata.

 o    Additionally tenderers need to be able to demonstrate extensive experience in managing Government Property Portfolio (both State and Federal).

 o    Tenderer has office locations in both the Sydney CBD and Parramatta Metropolitan areas.

  

Minimum Requirement 2:

 o    Evidence that the proposed Account Manager has over 10 years’ experience managing a portfolio of commercial property, preferably within the Sydney Metropolitan area.

  Submission of a duly executed Confidentiality Deed Poll does not automatically entitle Registrants to receive a copy of Request for Tender. A Registrant's entitlement to receive a copy of the Request for Tender remains at the sole discretion of Sydney Metro.
