New Sydney Fish Market Main Works - Expression of Interest - RFT-10028091

The Blackwattle Bay project area includes Blackwattle Bay, Sydney Fish Market and the land along Bank Street in Pyrmont.

Relocating the current Fish Market will enable the foreshore to be returned to the public, completing a missing link to the harbour-side promenade from Blackwattle Bay to Pyrmont and unlocking the area for renewal.

On 19th September, 2019, NSW Government announced approval of the new Sydney Fish Market project.

Two State Significant Development Applications for; Concept & Early Works, and Main Works have been lodged with NSW Department of Planning & Environment by Infrastructure NSW.

Infrastructure NSW are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and capable Contactors for the Main Works entailing detailed design and construction of the new Sydney Fish Market at Blackwattle Bay.

The EOI objective is to select a shortlist of suitable contractors to be invited to respond to and participate in the Request For Tender (RFT) to carry out the Main Works Package.

Contractors and joint venture partnerships with a proven track record in successfully completing major projects involving harbour foreshore works, significant retail and/ or bespoke architectural features are invited to submit their Expression of Interest.
