Trial of Bus Tyres and Pressure Monitoring Devices - STA 2010/09

 

State Transit is inviting Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for participation in a bus tyre and tyre pressure monitoring device trial at nominated State Transit bus depots as specified in the following Invitation to Tender.

This ITT is the first stage in the process of selecting a tyre supplier on either a supply only or cents per kilometre (CPK) basis.  The Tender process will be used to determine a short list of suppliers to fit and trial tyres across the State Transit fleet as set out in the Technical Specification. Services will include:

(a)         Supply of tyres

(b)         Mounting and demounting tyres from rims

(c)         Rim maintenance

(d)         Tyre valve and stem replacement maintenance

(e)         Tyre pressure maintenance

(f)           Tyre numbering and branding

(g)         Inventory management and reporting

(h)         Tyre disposal

(i)           Supply of Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), at a minimum of 10 devices per Depot.
