The extent of works for this contract includes but is not limited to:
Kincumber STP: Replacement of existing screens with new automatic and bypass screens, replace existing screenings handling equipment with a new screenings washing, dewatering and disposal system, replace cast iron penstocks with new stainless steel penstocks, provision of stopboards, epoxy lining of inlet works, new grit classifying, washing & dewatering and disposal system, associated electrical works, modifications to channel hydraulics, weirs and miscellaneous works.
Woy Woy STP: Replacement of existing screens with new automatic and bypass screens, replace existing screenings handling equipment with a new screenings washing, dewatering and disposal system, provide stainless steel penstocks to replace stopboards, associated electrical works.
The works comprise all work shown on the drawings and included in the specification.

Additional Details / Instructions
A pre-tender meeting (including a site inspection) will be held at Kincumber Sewage Treatment Plant, Doyle Street, Kincumber at 9:00 am on Wednesday 27/10/2010. Attendance at the meeting is not compulsory.
Site inspections will also be available each Wednesday following the pre-tender meeting and during the tender period from 10.00 am until 12.00 am commencing at Kincumber STP and proceeding to Woy Woy STP. Tenderers and their agents or representatives must advise the Contact Person of their intention to attend the Wednesday site inspections at least 24 hours before the site visit. Upon arrival at Kincumber STP introduce themselves to the Contact Person prior to site induction and undertaking their accompanied inspection of the sites.
