Tender Details
The Powerhouse Museum is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to design and construct, and potentially own and operate, a cogeneration system for Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum.
The cogeneration system will provide electrical energy for the Museum and waste heat will be used to provide cooling for the facility.
The project is being assisted with grant funding courtesy of the NSW Government’s Public Facilities Program.
The Museum is yet to decide whether a Design and Construct (D&C) or a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) style contract will be utilised to deliver the project. As such, a two-stage tender process has been selected which commences with this Expression Of Interest (EOI).
Upon receiving initial responses from proponents, a decision to proceed via D&C or BOOT will be made and the shortlisted tenderers will be invited to submit a more detailed proposal for the project.
