Wingecarribee Shire Council seeks suitably qualified contractors for the hiring of plant and equipment to support the delivery of Council’s Operational Plan.
The desired outcome of this Request for Tender is to form a contract panel arrangement with successful tenderers on an ad hoc basis for a period of one (1) year period with an option for a one (1) year extension to be exercised at Council’s discretion.
Council’s Request for Tender process invites tenderers to submit prices for the following types of plant and equipment hire:

Wet Hire Rates – Rates required for plant hire with an operator to be charged out as an hourly rate during the hours of operation.

Dry Hire Rates – Rates required for plant hire without an operator to be charged out as either day hire or weekly hire charges for the time that the plant and equipment item is on hire and in working order.

Haulage Rates for material cartage – to be charged out at a kilometre rate per tonne.

Haulage Rates for plant floatage - to be charged out as an hourly rate.

Minor Works – Contractors will have the option of quoting for operator (operating plant not owned by the contractor) and labourer hourly rates in addition to their wet hire rates.

Respondents are requested to attend a tender briefing at 2:00pm on Friday 25 August 2017 at the Wingecarribee Shire Council Civic Centre (Theatrette). Confirmation of your attendance is requested to Council’s Procurement Branch by email: procurement@wsc.nsw.gov.au no later than 4:00pm Thursday, 24 August 2017.
