Department of Education / Multicultural Women's Hub - DECMNSW-15-26

Multicultural NSW (MNSW) seeks an organisation to develop and implement Multicultural Women’s Hub/s (MWH) across Western Sydney. Multicultural NSW has consulted broadly with organisations representing and assisting women from diverse cultural backgrounds on the need for multicultural women’s hubs in Western Sydney. The results of the consultation were broadly positive about establishing women’s hubs in Western Sydney.

The Hub would build opportunities for women from culturally diverse backgrounds to help empower and enable them. The Hub would not duplicate services, but collaborate with existing service providers to better link culturally diverse women to pathways and support.

The provider should be able to demonstrate they have access to alternate sources of funding through partnerships with corporate or philanthropic organisations. This will ensure a stronger and viable model. 

The provider should also be able to demonstrate evidence of success with data to show outcomes achieved.

Respondents who wish to attend the briefing session are to nominate their attendees to the email mwh@multicultural.nsw.gov.au by 12noon Tuesday 17th March 2015. There will be a limit to attendance at the briefing session, each organisation can nominate up to a maximum of three representatives.
