Tender Details

To remediate Little River Trail to enable access for NPWS and others.

The work is as described in the drawings issued with the tender documentation (TX17220.00 REVC) and includes but is not limited to the following major components:

• Reinstatement of creek crossings as specified in table A

• Establishment of temporary passing and turning bays as specified in table B (quantity to be determine by Contractor to allow safe construction)

• Trim of road and vegetation management from chainage 100m to approximately chainage 4100m as specified in table C

• Re sheeting of road pavement at locations as specified in table C

• Construction of concrete pavement from chainage 4128m to 4214m including drainage and scour protection.

• Construction of gravel pavement from chainage 4214m to 4238m

The contractor is also required to complete works to the existing concrete bridge as set out in Bridge Structural Loading Assessment Report (TX7220.01-02).

The contractor is required to engage a suitably qualified Engineer to carry out the inspections, testing, WAE and site supervision set out in the drawings. The engineer is also required to provide written acceptance to the principal that hold/witness point items are compliant prior to the contractor proceeding.

The Principal recommends engaging the Consultants listed in the Title Page under ‘Consultant Details’ where required.

The meeting will be held at Little River Trail - Upper Myall - Ghin-Doo-Ee National Park. Meeting Point - Corner Upper Myall Road & Hogan's Trail (near Peacehaven Country Cottages Farmstay) 4WD ACCESS ONLY! If you do not have a 4WD, you will need to advise so arrangements can be made.

TWO ENVELOPE TENDER  

This is a Two-Envelope tender. The tender schedules are marked as Envelope 1 Non-Price and Envelope 2 Price. Please submit as two separate files when you lodge your response. The files can be zipped together to be submitted.

Electronic Tender Box Security

    Addendum No. 1

    The attached Addendum No. 1 includes: 

    • Notification of an additional pre-tender meeting that will be held at 8:00am Wednesday 8th May 2024.
    • Minutes of pre-tender meeting held on 30-04-24
    • Little River Trail Maintenance Sites - Georeference Map
    • Google Earth File showing key design features

    The addendum is part of the RFT documents and will form part of the Contract. Tenderers must acknowledge inclusion of this addendum in the tender form and lodge the acknowledgement with the tender submission.
