The Service Provider is responsible for providing Land Surveying Services for TfNSW and carrying out all necessary tasks required to complete the Services in accordance with the respective Services Brief included in the RFT documentation.
The general obligations of the Service Provider include:
a) Providing a high performance and highly skilled team, that will work in a collaborative manner with the project team, other service providers and key stakeholders to deliver the Services.
b) Undertaking studies, investigations, reports, and documentation as may be required for the project.
c) Co-ordinating input from the project team, other service providers and external stakeholders, including all necessary consultation.
d) Providing high quality services and documentation.
e) Supporting the NWRL Delivery Office in the delivery of an environmentally sound infrastructure project.
f) Plan, facilitate, and minute meetings with internal stakeholders.
g) Coordinate and manage other Service Providers.
h) Formalise a liaison process with all public and private authorities or individuals who own or control survey or other data relevant to the corridor design.
i) Standardise all received data and ensure all software data types and survey reference datum’s of the procured data is consistent with relevant standards to facilitate the efficient utilisation of the data.
j) Assist in liaising with Land and Property Information (LPI), for the provision of survey plans and cadastral record enquiries for affected titles and other survey information at the commencement of the Services and upon completion of the survey services provide a copy of the completed survey accurate cadastral model to LPI.
k) Secure physical/ visual inspections of all subsurface basements and existing infrastructure and utilities along the corridor.
l) Undertake system performance, spatial and functional planning for the works.
The Service Provider must meet RailCorp’s standards and safety requirements when working within the operational rail corridor. Surveys of existing rail infrastructure must be compliant with RailCorp’s requirements and standards. It is the responsibility of the Service Provider to organise and obtain any access to Railcorp or Sydney Trains assets.
Transport for NSW requires that all works on RailCorp assets / property are conducted by RailCorp Survey Panel members only.
This does not prevent companies from forming a partnership with a member of the RailCorp Survey Panel. This arrangement will need to be explained in the tender response.
The Service Provider may include agreed specialist sub-contractors necessary to fulfil the requirements of the Services. Where a sub-contractor is included the Service Provider is fully responsible for the sub-contractor’s compliance with the requirements of the Agreement and Services Brief, including in respect of exclusivity where it is a requirement.
