Tender Details
An overview of the works under this Contract includes, but is not limited to:
1. Provision of contractor’s management plans including construction program, environmental management plan safety management plan and quality management plan.
2. Cleaning of the reservoirs external and internal wall and floor surfaces, inspection for wall cracks, wall and floor joint repairs, preparation of wall surfaces and repairs to concrete and joints.
3. Supply an inspection report when the reservoir is emptied, this shall include internal and external walls and floors joints.
4. Replace the vertical and horizontal tendon anchorage recess parges.
5. Demolish and repair approximately 72.5 m of the top 400mm spalled concrete along the top edge of the Lower reservoir wall. Investigate the undamaged section to confirm that corrosion spalling has not commenced.
6. Remove and/or repair a number of structural roof members to both levels, including strengthening, cleaning, recoating and replacement of base plates and holding down bolts.
7. Remove and reinstall the existing aluminium roof sheeting of both levels following repairs to the roof structures.
8. Remove and replace existing internal and external access ladders, walkways, landings, pipe supports, level indicator and associated structural metalwork.
9. Construct a one metre wide perimeter concrete footpath around the reservoir.
10. Supply a removable manually operated winch and associated components to enable attachment to a davit.
11. Carry out disinfection and bacteriological testing.
12. Provision of Work-As-Executed Drawings.
