Forensic Expert System - 03052010RFP

 

The NSW Police Force is seeking a suitable industry partner that has developed a commercially available computer system and software (from here on referred to as Expert System) that is capable of performing mathematical interpretation of DNA evidence.

The Expert System must be capable of successfully processing raw data files generated during STR profiling of DNA evidence using commercially available PCR Human DNA Identification Kits (e.g. Applied Biosystems Profiler Plus®) on commercially available Genetic Analysers (e.g. e.g. Applied Biosystems Genetic Analysers eg 3130, 3130XL and 3500). This Expert System must also have proven performance using single-source, 2-person and 3-person DNA mixtures of various ratios.
