Request for Tender, Namoi Catchment Water Study Technical Advisory and Project Management Services - IINSW10/16

The NSW Government is aware of current community concerns regarding coal and gas exploration and possible future mining and gas extraction and the potential effects of these activities on aquifers and agricultural activities in the Liverpool Plains region.

The NSW Minister for Mineral and Forest Resources (the Minister) established a Ministerial Oversight Committee to oversee a water study in the Namoi Catchment in accordance with the Terms of Reference. This RFT is to engage a technical adviser to provide advice and project management support to a Ministerial Oversight Committee (MOC) established by the NSW Minister for Mineral and Forest Resources to oversee the Namoi Catchment Water Study. The Study is to be undertaken by an Independent Expert appointed by the MOC.
