Yagoona Town Centre Upgrade - T29-10

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake Yagoona Town Centre Upgrade - North Side.

It is anticipated that the entire contract be awarded to one Contractor. However, not all of separable portions may proceed. The portions that are to be constructed will be listed in the Letter of Acceptance.

Works in Separable Portions 1 generally include:

            I.        Demolition and disposal of existing concrete footways, kerb and gutter, part of road pavement and street furniture.

               II.    Construction of minor stormwater pipes and pits.

              III.    Reconstruction of kerb and gutter sections, road pavement and kerb ramps.

           IV.    Construction of a new Type 1 footpaving.

             V.    Construction of tree pits and planting of street trees.

           VI.    Landscaping work which includes construction of tree pits, sub-soil systems, planting of street trees and shrubs of various sizes and species.

          VII.     Supply and installation of new street furniture (seats, litter bin enclosures and handrails).

        VIII.    Linemarking and sign posting.

           IX.    Paving of all Telstra pits with infill type lids. Replacement/relocation of all Telstra assets shall be undertaken by others.

Works in Separable Portions 2 generally include:

                 I.    Demolition and disposal of existing concrete footwaysConstruction of minor stormwater pipes and pits.

               II.    Construction of a new Type 1 footpaving.

              III.    Construction of tree pits and planting of street trees.

           IV.    Landscaping work which includes construction of tree pits, sub-soil systems and planting of street trees.

Paving of all Telstra pits with infill type lids. Replacement/relocation of all Telstra assets shall be undertaken by others.
